Water-Induced Problems
Water is one the most destructive elements on buildings. If buildings are left unprotected,
exposure to water can cause unforeseen damage to building materials that includes
concrete, steel-reinforced concrete, mortar, cement, sandstone, brick, and other natural
building materials.
The most common problems range from corrosion, efflorescence, damage to interior
paint, damage to the facade of the building. Without adequate water repellency, the life
of building materials is significantly reduced.

Efflorescence - salting on brick, sandstone, and other building materials
Damage on the Interior - water penetrating through the walls causes severe damage.
